I'm trying something new with this blog, taking inspiration from "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?", one of the first children's computer games released in the floppy disk era, a long time ago in 1985.

Accordingly, I won't publish an itinerary in advance, nor any maps, just photos, and some occasional text. You'll have to guess where we've been, and, depending on cell service and internet access, I'll eventually let you know where we visited.

Feel free to record your guess in the comments section.

Day 10 & 11-July 21 & 22

Comments about Day 9:

Alex and Alice both had the day off from work.  Alex and I went riding from the top of Vail Pass back to their condo in Frisco. It was mostly downhill, so my hands got much more of a workout on the brakes than my feet on the pedals.  While we rode, Joni shared her family recipe for sauce and meatballs with Alice, a preparation that took longer than our ride. Tuesday's dinner was of course, delicious spaghetti and meatballs!

    1. I'll do my best, but I like to keep both hands on the handlebars, especially on steep descents.

  2. I believe I detect a bit too much redness across the cheeks and nose, no doubt a casualty of ogling all that remarkable scenery. Beware.
